Wood chip heating system in container form

A quick solution for a palette factory

Due to changes in legislation, this factory in the south-west of Germany could no longer export palettes that exceeded a certain level of humidity, and thereby did not comply with IPPC standards. We planned and organised the installation of a palette-drying chamber heated by a 500kW wood-chip heating plant in container form. Installation was undertaken by a sister company. Thanks to the container solution, it was possible to complete the entire installation, including erection of a free-standing 15m chimney and connection of the wood-chip container, within only four weeks. This allowed the palette factory to resume exporting with minimum delay.

The wood-chip heating plant has also replaced the existing oil-fired heating systems of the office buildings and the production halls.
