Installation on wood chip store, 108kW3 weeks from start of works to commissioningThis barn, with a size of 70x17m, serves for the storage of wood chips used in a communal heating system in a village in Fran ce (see this case study). In 2010, PV modules with a peak power output of 108kW were installed and connected to the electricity grid in a timeframe of only 3 weeks. The barn's location outside of the village envelope meant that a new connection to the grid had to be provided by the local distribution network operator over a distance of approximately 1km. Our French office was responsible for the project development, from initial assessment to system commissioning. |
